Sadly, Acure has cheapened their formula on many (all?) of their products. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 3 years, and I admit that this change is extremely disappointing. The new formulas seem to all be quite negative, lowering the quality exponentially. This cleanser is now just “ok” where I once thought it was among the best. I thought it was just a new package but once used, I realized it is significantly lower quality than the original. Why ruin a great product? To make more money by making a cheap quality product? You should’ve just charged more! Serious bummer. Searching for a replacement.

Very disappointed in Acure. I have been using this for a couple years and all of a sudden I noticed it felt different on my face. They changed the ingredients and now the first ingredient is water! I really expected more for this company…they purposely didn’t even put a “new formula” call out because they know they have gone with a cheaper formula without some of the expensive ingredients. I checked some of their other items that I used to buy from Acure and now a lot of them have had some organic ingredients removed and water added as the first ingredient. In the pictures, the left is the old fomula and the right is the new formula. Time to switch to a different cleanser!

I’ve never wrote a review in my life but I will take the time to write a review about Acure because I am so disappointed with this brand. this was the first and LAST time I will buy anything from Acure. The ingredients that I read online are not the same ingredients listed on the packaging of the product. Not so clean ingredients after all. Companies need to stop f***ing with consumers about ingredients, seriously it’s getting old.

I had use a different formula of the product, and it enjoyed it. It had a longer list of fruit ingredients. I had use facial cleansers with “LAURYL GLUCOSIDE” and “COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE,” and other chemicals related to these, however this formula of this product does irritate my skin(forehead) so it is hard to pinpoint the irritating ingredient. I do use products that contain fragrance but they are at the bottom of the list.If you have sensitive skin, and try to avoid fragrance products at the top of the list, this is probably not for you.It did make my face soft, and not drying on the skin but if the top half of the ingredients bother you, I don’t recommend this formula/product.

Love it.It cleanses without it feeling like it is burning your face off. Most cleansers are too harsh on our skins. I have sensitive skin and I have experienced zero adverse reactions. No skin irritations. I use a pea size or less and massage into skin.Acure personal care products, I believe, are still EWG certified and approved by naturopathic/functional medicine doctors such as Izabella Wentz. By no means am I promoting this product for monetary gain by mentioned EWG or names of doctors. I am just a customer that has done an extreme amount of research on holistic health after being diagnosed with Autoimmune Hashimoto’s Disease.Diet, lifestyle, mindset, the self, personal care products, environment, social, spiritual, are all part of holistic health and well being. You must take care of all of those, and not exclusively one aspect to be a healthy, joyful, grateful person. You must do them all correctly and well.To nice health. Love and take care of yourself.

I’ve been using the ‘Sensitive Facial Cream’ for years (green tube).The description of this states that it has been rebranded to the ‘Seriously Soothing Cleansing Cream’ but that the product is the same.The cream I received in the new pink packaging is nothing like the one I used before. I still have some left of the green bottle so could directly compare the two.The new cream is much more oily/greasy as opposed to the older ones I have that were like normal lotions.I gave it a shot for a few days anyway. It goes on grittier, dries differently, and, for me, does not work at all.Had more irritation, and anytime later on in the day if you got your face wet white residue would appear.

Unfortunately, the ingredients listed on website (Amazon) donit match the ingredients listed on the actual box. The product now contains many more chemicals including alcohol and fragrance, neither of which I want to put on my skin. I will be returning this product.

When I was a teenager I had horrible acne. I went to a dermatologist for several years. I was on harsh antibiotics and used chemical products. As an adult I decided to stop going to the dermatologist. I was on the hunt for natural products. I did my research and I created my own facial routine. It’s taken me a long time to find products that work well with my skin. It’s all trial and error trying to create a facial routine. Once you identify if your skin is dry, oily, combination, sensitive, or none of the above. Once you have that information now you can do your research. you can get targeted tips, articles, videos and more. You can create a custom routine for your skin type.I have been using ACURE products for over three years. My skin is extremely oily and sensitive. I purchased this product originally from Target and Whole Foods. Then came across it on Amazon cheaper. I usually use this product every night. I like to use my TAO clean orbital facial brush with the brightening cleaning gel. Not the same ingredients they are listed online. Acure has seriously downgraded this product. I started noticing red small bumps and irritation on my forehead after using this a few times. This never happened with the older and better formula. The first 8 ingredients listed on the box are chemicals, with fragrance being one of them. I wish I had noticed this when this product was still returnable. Sadly I’ll be throwing this away now.

I have been using Acure products for probably 4+ years. Their face products have always been my favorite. Within the last year I’ve noticed their packaging and even ingredients changing… I used to purchase from health food stores, but switched once I found them on Amazon- so I’m really not sure if this is exclusively an Amazon issue or what… but all of my face lotions and face washes have recently been breaking open at the top corner near the seal. They spill, leak, and make it difficult to get the product out of… so disappointing. In addition, I recently ordered the Brightening Gel Wash, received the correct product/packaging, but inside was the GREEN Facial Scrub??? SO WEIRD. Overall pretty disappointed with the direction this company is headed in, they really used to be my favorite brand, but I think I’m going to be switching entirely, considering the NONSTOP/consistent issues with a variety of their products recently. Bummer…
